Environment: New idea

New idea

After having my tutorial it turned out that my idea of taking images in London was not suitable for this project as but would be more suited to the next stage of environment that we will be doing as it is based on the city. This means that I have left my self with very little time to come up with a next idea, to research it and complete my shoot and printing, however luckily after a visit to the library inspiration for a new direction came quite quickly.

- As  much as I find some landscape photography beautiful I did not feel inspired by purely taking photos of landscape. This gave me the idea to include objects into my work but as a feature within my images.

-I thought about how to show a human presence. This could be done in a subtle way by having a small can in the image for example of by having my blatant and large objects such as a car.

-In the library I was drawn to Michael Wolf's book (Hong Kong: Front Door/ Back Door). His work inspired me to look at how, when it comes to nature and landscape, we often miss the beauty of what is infront of us.

-I can show this by having objects blocking some of the view of the landscape. I could do this using large objects as they would clearly block some of the view or this could be done by using smaller objects but having then close to the camera.
